The Barn Quilts of Greene County committee is selling note cards depicting the 11 barns displaying quilt blocks in the county. An additional 12th card is a collage of all the barns. The cards, while focusing on each quilt block, also highlight the agricultural building‹which really celebrates both agriculture and quilting in a note card that can be fun and useful to a wide audience.
All proceeds from the note cards will go toward the Barn Quilts of Greene County project. Committee chair Carla Offenburger said, "The committee wanted to begin raising funds for our 2006 project goals, which include adding another dozen or so quilt blocks to Greene county." She continued,
"We felt the note cards were a wonderful way to share the uniqueness of this
project with a large audience."
Cards are currently available at The Printer's Box and the Jefferson Area Chamber of Commerce, both in Jefferson. Barn Quilts of Greene County committee members are also selling the cards.
