Utilizing well-established and maintained modes of transportation, we are located an hour from the intersection of I-80/35, which is the main hub of overland transportation for the nation. Union Pacific Railroad also provides service through the county as well, maximizing our ability to receive raw materials and ship goods.

Small to mid-sized manufacturers are sprinkled across Greene County. Power Lift and American Athletic both have equipment being used by professional, amateur, collegiate, and high school athletes all over the world. Gymnastics fans will see the American Athletic logo on equipment in such events as the Olympics. Power Lift weight lifting equipment is the choice of training rooms throughout the country at all levels of competition.
Alongside these two companies and others such as Electrolux, lie agriculturally oriented businesses like Syngenta and the West Central Cooperative. Greene County is also home to MicroSoy, a soy flake plant in Jefferson, which is demonstrating the importance and profitability of value added agriculture.
Greater Greene County is the home to several other growing industries. Scranton Manufacturing and Bauer Built are two prime examples. Scranton Manufacturing is a leader in producing New Way refuse equipment which include front loaders, rear loaders, satellite bodies, recycling bodies, roll-off systems, side loaders and automated side loaders. Bauer Built, located in Paton, contracts with John Deere to make 80 foot plus planter bars. This homegrown operation has evolved to be a leader in innovative planting equipment.
